True Type Format: These fonts do not have outlines but go over the lines two times. In cutting and engraving software like Cricut Design Space, Adobe Illustrator, and Silhouette Studio, your pen tool will draw a single line and then go over it again in the exact same place, resulting in beautiful, crisp results.
FontLab Pad Format: FontLab Pad is a simple, free app where you can type out true single line text. Export as an SVG file and import into your chosen software.
Open Path Format (OPF): These fonts do not have any outlines at all! Perfect for cutting software like Starcraft CREATE and Sure Cuts a Lot. Your pen, foil quill, embossing, engraving, etching, or similar tool will draw a single line only, no outlines, no going over the lines a second time.
Special Cricut Design Space Instructions: If you have an issue with some of the font disappearing when you click "Make It," right-click the text box, choose "ungroup," and then "attach" before sending it to the machine.
