SLF Maple Lane

.... our newest release is just in time for back-to-school cardmaking and fall crafting!

Included Formats:

TTF - True Type Format
OTF (for FontLab Pad) - Open Type Format
OPF - Open Path Format

TTF FORMAT:
Because true type format fonts must have what we call “closed paths”, these will draw the line 2 times in the exact same place. To get around this, we created these fonts with no outlines. Instead, the lines trace over themselves once and then "close".

Installation (Windows): Right-click on the file and click “Unzip” and then “Install”. (Mac): Double-Click on the zipped file and drag the font file to the Font Book. Open or restart your program and use your new font. Your font can be found in drop-down text boxes within your software.

FONTLAB PAD FORMAT:
Simple, free app in which you type out true single line text. Export as an SVG file. Import into your chosen software. You can find more info on this method on our Single Line Fonts website and also on YouTube.  Check this link for more info on my FontLab Pad single line font format!

OPEN PATH FORMAT (OPF):
Your cutter will go over the lines only one time. OPF fonts are not installable in Windows or on Macs in the same way that TTF or OTF files are. OPF format will work in these programs only:
Pazzles InVue
Make The Cut
Sure Cuts a Lot

Of these three, Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL) is the only program that is still actively being supported. Although there is a small learning curve, there are great SCAL help groups on Facebook. SCAL is a great option for true single line font work if you use a lot of text.

Sure Cuts a Lot: Copy and paste the OPF file in your Documents/Craft Edge/My Fonts folder. Go to the text menu, find OPF font, select Load Font.

Pazzles InVue: Right-click on the font file, select: Open With, then Choose Another App, then Pazzles InVue. When asked if you would like the font to be installed in InVue, select Yes.

Make the Cut: Find the “Text and Fonts” tab. Underneath the installed fonts listing, find the 2nd box from the right that says “Add font from TTF File” and click on it. Locate the OPF file. On the bottom left, you may elect to permanently install it in Make the Cut. Double click on the file to install.

I'm committed to your success! If you have any issues, send me an email message or use the website chat feature.

Thank you for choosing the original Single Line Fonts©(TM)!
